Global Health Diplomacy for Noncommunicable Diseases Prevention

  • This systematic review examines how global health diplomacy (GHD) can strengthen multi-stakeholder engagement for noncommunicable disease prevention. The research identifies three critical levels of diplomatic engagement: core diplomacy (formal negotiations among nations), multi-stakeholder diplomacy (involving governments and other actors), and informal diplomacy. Five key themes emerge, including problem identification, key actors, stakeholder interests, negotiation processes, and scenarios for collective action essential for effective global NCD policy development.
